What we believe

Apostolic Doctrine:

Our creed, discipline, rule of order, and doctrine are the Word of God, as taught and revealed by the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, 1 Corinthians 2:9-13). The Word of God is to be used for the conversion of the city and world (Mark 16:15-16, Matthew 28:19-20). “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine. For reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that a man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” I Timothy 3: 16-17.

The Doctrine of ONE GOD:

There is only one God. Ephesians 4:6. The Lord is God. Deuteronomy 4:39. There is only one Lord. Ephesians 4:5. The same Lord that saith He is God in Deuteronomy 4:39 and said “I am Jesus” in Acts 9:5. The Lord said I am the almighty God, in Genesis 17:1. Jesus is revealed to be the Almighty God in Isaiah 9:6. Revelation 1:8, Revelation 4:8.

Salvation Doctrine:

Redemption and remission of sins- God Commanded all me everywhere to repent. Acts 17:30, Acts 26:20. Godly sorrow worketh repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:10. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and serveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalms 34:18, 51:17. John the baptized preached repentance. The Lord Jesus proclaimed it, and before his ascension commanded that repentance and remission of sins be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:47. Peter fulfilled this command on the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2:38.

Water Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ- The Word of God is our only foundation. Baptism in water is a command of the Lord. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy ghost. Matthew 28:19. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16. Jesus answered, verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. John 3:5. Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the holy ghost. Act 2:38.

Spiritual Baptism with the evidence of Glossolalia.

It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I shall pour out My Spirit upon all flesh. Acts 2:17. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Matthew 3:11. Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. These scriptures were fulfilled at Jerusalem. Acts 2:4 and 4:31.

Glossolalia as the Spirit gives the utterance is the initial evidence of the Baptism of the Holy ghost. Acts 2:4-19, 9:17-18. With 1 Corinthians 14:18, Acts 10:44, 19:6. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue, speaketh not unto men, but unto God.

Pastor Sam Tiangha and First lady Hazel Tiangha, began pastoring Vineyard Ministries Calgary in January of 2017.

Pastor Sam Tiangha is well versed in biblical history, doctrinal fundamentals, and emphasizes the importance of learning the bible, not religion.

His whole approach to pastoral ministry is seeking biblical revelations. He teaches the importance of understanding and applying the relevancy of the Word of God in modern times.

This viewpoint, leads him to publish the book, "But I Speak Concerning Christ and the Church".  This book focuses on where the apostolic church was, where it is today, and where it needs to be in the future.

Pastor Sam Tiangha understands and embraces the burden and servitude of his calling. As such he always puts the needs of the congregation above his own.

Lady Hazel Tiangha is the First lady of Vineyard Ministries Calgary. Though not being raised in the apostolic faith, God has given her a strong sense of integrity, credibility, and love.  Her heartfelt worship and uncompromising stance on what is right is what enforces the culture in the church.

The Love they both have for the saints in their congregation is undeniable and seen by many.  Their devotion to the Lord is an attitude that the people in Vineyard Ministries Calgary follow.
